In honor of our 40th anniversary, our elementary, middle school and some primary students participated in planting a school orchard to provide fruit for future generations of VMS students. This was done under the guidance and support of a knowledgeable organization called Common Vision. We now have 22 fruit trees including apricot, nectarine, peach, persimmon, fig, pineapple guava, apples and more! The students planted trees, created orchard art, and enjoyed lessons on botany and ecology while learning about the importance of trees in our ecosystem. Stop by to enjoy our beautiful campus and take a walk up to our Edible Schoolyard!
