Alex Cortes has a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development, Multiple Subject, from California State University at Los Angeles and an American Montessori Society credential in Early Childhood Education. Alex has eight years experience working in Montessori schools and is fluent in Spanish. She started as a Childcare Director in another Bay Area Montessori before coming to VMS in 2019. She currently works in the Palm Classroom as a primary teacher. Alex enjoys working with all children and sharing her family’s culture of Mexican traditions and the Spanish language. In her time off she enjoys self-care, traveling with family, cooking and dining out.
