Lisa Holmes Elkihel discovered Montessori at VMS alongside her toddler in 1999. She has worked with toddlers ever since, obtained her AMS Infant-Toddler credential in 2002 and holds a Positive Discipline educator certification. She joined VMS full-time in 2002 and is the proud mother of a VMS alumna. Lisa supports Montessori Infant-Toddler adult learners as an Instructional Guide, Field Consultant, and Practicum Advisor.

Lisa is passionate about guiding the youngest of students as they begin experiencing and navigating the world around them while she partners with their families on their parenting journey. She particularly enjoys sharing her love of nutrition and cooking, yoga and mindfulness, gardening, and music with her students.
