Sandi Gutierrez holds a M.A. in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a B.A. in Modern Languages from Montana State University. She earned her Montessori Secondary I and II credential from the Houston Montessori Center. Sandi has been teaching in the Middle School since 2010 in Language Arts, Spanish and History. A life-long learner, she continues to bring new and fresh ideas into the classroom. Her love of language, storytelling, and the outdoors is woven into her work at VMS. With roots in Utah, Montana, and Idaho, her favorite pastime is exploring mountains and rivers with her three children.
