A Note From Our Reading Specialists
The Barton Program is a one-on-one reading and spelling program for students who are having trouble learning to read due to auditory processing difficulty. The program is Orton-Gillingham based and uses direct, systematic, and explicit instruction. We meet with our students twice a week for 45-minute sessions during the school day.
In addition to working on reading fluency, our students learn cool spelling rules with fun names like Floss, Kiss the Cat, Milk Truck, and Catch Lunch, to name just a few. No need to memorize spelling words when you know these tricks!
Enrolling Your Child
Our early childhood classrooms are designed to meet the ever-changing needs of the three to six-year-old child. Beauty and order play important roles in creating the child-size atmosphere which is carefully designed to encourage curiosity and a love for learning.
